How to find the perfect size
Measuring yourself is a necessity when it comes to online shopping for your South Asianwear. Each brand has its own ‘dress size’ and fit, so it’s important to check your own body measurements against each listing to make sure it will fit.
To get started, all you need is a tape measure. Make sure you:
- Take your measurements in underwear or in very tight clothes.
- Your posture is relaxed: stand up straight, keep your feet together and your shoulders down.
- Don’t tighten the tape measure against your body, or the measurements will result in a size that is too small for you.
If you want to know your true size, the most common way is to measure your bust, waist and hips.

Once you have all your measurements noted down, check them against each listing on the website. Take a look at if there is additional fabric - and size up, so you can always get it tailored to fit you perfectly!
